Maruichi Sun Steel JSC – SUNSCO – installed a 6-high Cold Rolling Mill (Hyper UC-Mill) with the latest technology from Primetals Technologies in June 2021. Hyper UC-mill is one of the most advanced machines in Vietnam and can produce 0.1mm thickness of Cold Rolled Steel CRFH with high shape control and low rolling load.

We have published a paper on Hyper UC-mill at AIST (The Association for Iron & Steel Technology) and introduced its features and activities.

*AIST is a non-profit organization with more than 17,500 members from over 70 countries, providing education, sustainability programs for the steel industry, and technical articles, papers, etc. related to various fields of steel technology.

SUNSCO will continue to meet the demand for high-quality products both domestically and internationally based on this facility and work on innovation and excellence in the steel industry.
